Questions about pricing
Is the free plan really free, or is it a trial?
It is a plan, not a trial. There is no card, no countdown and nothing that switches off after a fortnight. You get one website, 10 credits a month, and a small “Built with Sonara” link in the corner of your live pages. People run their business on it.
Why is it $9 a month on one page and $19 on another?
Those are the annual and monthly rates for the same plan. Paying for a year up front works out at $9 a month; paying month to month is $19. The switch above the plan cards moves between the two, and annual saves up to 52%.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your website carries on exactly as it was — live, taking bookings, emailing you enquiries. You just cannot ask for changes until they refill on your next monthly date. You can also top up without changing plan, and a top-up sits on top of your allowance rather than replacing it.
Can I change plan or cancel later?
Any time, from your account page — upgrading, downgrading and cancelling are all a couple of clicks, and none of them need us. Cancelling stops the next charge; you keep the plan you paid for until the end of the period you have already paid.
What happens to my website if I stop paying?
It goes back to the free plan rather than disappearing: still live, still on the internet, still collecting enquiries, with the “Built with Sonara” badge back in the corner and 10 credits a month. If you had pointed your own domain at it, tell us and we will help you move it.
Do you refund?
Yes — if Sonara is not what you wanted, email us and we will refund you. There is no window to argue about and nothing to fill in.
Are there any other costs?
No. Hosting, SSL, the database behind your site and the emails it sends you are all in the price. The one thing we do not include is the domain name itself if you want your own — that is roughly $10–20 a year, paid to whoever you buy it from, and you can point one you already own at your site for nothing.
