Use Claude or ChatGPT to change your website

Connect Sonara to Claude or ChatGPT, and you can ask either of them to update your website in the same conversation you already use for everything else. Changes go live on your real site, and each one costs a credit — the same as making it in Sonara.

Use it exactly as written, with no www. — a redirect drops the sign-in and the connection fails.

Claude

1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
2. Choose “Add custom connector” and paste the address above.
3. Press Connect and sign in to Sonara when it asks.
4. In a chat, turn the Sonara connector on from the + menu.

ChatGPT — desktop app

1. Open Settings, then Plugins, then the MCPs tab.
2. Choose “Connect to a custom MCP”.
3. Name it Sonara.
4. Set Type to Streamable HTTP — not STDIO, which is selected by default and asks for a command to run on your machine.
5. Paste the address above as the URL, and sign in to Sonara when it asks.

ChatGPT — on the web

1. Open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
2. Add a connector and paste the address above.
3. Sign in to Sonara when it asks, then enable it in a conversation.

Developer mode on the web is not available on ChatGPT’s free plan.

What it can do

List your websites, read their pages, make a change and publish it, and report how a change went. It cannot see your billing details, your visitors’ data, or anyone else’s websites.

Worth knowing

• A change takes a couple of minutes. Ask it to check rather than repeating the request — a second request costs a second credit.
• Anything the assistant has read — a web page, a document you pasted — can end up influencing what it asks us to build. Read the change it proposes before approving it, the same as you would any other edit.
• Every change is published the normal way and your previous version is kept, so a bad edit is a follow-up message, not a disaster.
• You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
